Companies like Monsanto now want to market their genetically modified seeds to Mexican farmers. Many indigenous producers complain that genetically modified organisms (GMO) are cross-pollinating with their native plants. And it is only a matter of time until Monsanto's new Terminator corn (the kernels cannot be replanted, hence the name) makes it to Mexico.
