Solage Earns Top Ranking in First Eligible Year in 2009 World’s Best Awards
CALISTOGA, CALIF. (July 15, 2009) – The discerning readers of Travel + Leisure,
one of the most respected travel magazines in the world, have voted Solage Calistoga
among the world’s best. The 14th annual World's Best Awards readers survey, featured
in the August 2009 issue of the magazine, ranked Auberge's newest luxury hotel brand,
Solage Calistoga in Napa Valley, Calif., the No. 11 “Best Resort in the Continental U.S.
and Canada,” with a rating of 88.11. This is the first year Solage has been eligible for
consideration, having been in operation for a full year, deeming it quite a coup to have
received such high honors.
The Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards are among the most revered awards within
the travel industry and are based on thorough reader evaluations of guest rooms/facilities,
location, service, restaurants/food and value. Solage Calistoga, a new 89-room
contemporary-style resort in Napa Valley, features the widely acclaimed
