CALL TO ORDER The agenda for this meeting of the Elko Parks & Recreation Advisory Board has been properly posted for this date and time in accordance with NRS requirements. ROLL CALL APPROVAL OF MINUTES: JANUARY 22, 2009

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD This agenda item is to provide time for the general public to address the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board regarding items of concern not specifically listed on the agenda. Action cannot be taken at this time, but a matter can be set on the agenda for a future meeting, as appropriate.

NEW BUSINESS A. Presentation to the Board from the Friends of Elko Peace Park regarding progress on the development of the park and plans for the coming construction season. NON-ACTION ITEM.
IV.
OLD BUSINESS A. Review, consideration, and discussion regarding potential uses for areas visited during a tour of areas listed on the Parks, Open Spaces, and Trails Inventory. ACTION ITEM This item is included to allow the board to continue the discussion of possible uses for areas listed on the Parks, open spaces, and trails inventory. Last month board members were divided into three groups to look at three sections of the City of Elko for the development of a potential plan for future use of those areas.
