AGENDA FOR PARENT INFORMATIONAL MEETING

							All team members will be required to wear makeup to competitions due to the lighting. The makeup
will need to look as uniformed as possible. The makeup will be available through All Star Gym, please
do not go out and purchase your own makeup, everyone must match! Make up and hair is to be
done upon arrival at the competition. The style is a very simple pony. Do not add glitter to the hair
or make up. Please do not do anything extra without permission from the coaches.

MAKE UP ITEMS (they should have it in their bag)
This year All Star has worked with the Placerville Longs Drug Store to order the makeup, by
doing this we will be passing the discount along to you.
There will be two makeup packages available. These packages will be available for purchase at the
end of August and must be purchased before Sep. 12th.

      Eye Package: between $10-$12 dollars Includes Cover Girl Eye Shadow, and NYC Shimmer

      The Total Package: between $23-$27 Includes Cover Girl Eye Shadow, NYC Shimmer, Cover
       Girl Eye Liner, Cover Girl Blush, Maybelline Mascara

      Each package will come in a small cosmetic bag

      THE EYE SHADOW HAS CHANGED Everyone is required to purchase the Eye Package,
       All New Members must Purchase The Total Package. An order form for the packages
       will go out the week of Aug. 18th.

Additional Makeup Items (Not Included in the Package but MUST be purchased):
   Lipstick: Mode Dion in Stage Red (see attached paper with directions on how to order) Each
       team member must have their own lipstick in their cheer bag to put on prior to competing.

     Eyebrow pencil: Choose an eyebrow pencil color that best matches the hair color of your child.
      This helps to accentuate their facial expressions.
All Make up is to be on upon arrival at the competition except for the lipstick.

Suggested Items:
   Q -Tips for lipstick/and lip glitter application.

      Foundation (especially if your child has a tendency to blush when nervous)


      Eye shadow base. This minimizes caking and creasing.
HAIR: When putting hair up it is best to wash hair the day before the event. Hair is to be tightly
secured in a high ponytail (hint:- If the team member takes her right hand and opens it wide and
places her thumb at the base of her neck where the hairline is and then places her pointing finger to
the top of her head) that is where the ponytail should be. There should be no hair on the face and all
bangs and whispy’s must be secured with clips, and hairspray.

HAIR ITEMS-
   SCUNCI clips that match your daughter’s hair color. No silver please.
      These are available at most grocery stores and Wal-Mart. (No Bobbie Pin’s Allowed!!!!)

      Hair pony holders from SCUNCI FIRM AND TIGHT- Again match the hair color. They should
       carry extra in their bag.

WHAT TO PUT IN THEIR BAG
   Hair brush and a fine tooth comb for parting.

      Hair spray (aqua net) is the best for this and hair gel.

Please take responsibility for your child’s presentation at the competition. The coaches will not have
time to redo everyone’s hair and or make up.

The coaches keep the bows with them and attach them the day of the competition.
