LGBT Center which would potentially include counseling, resource area, lounging space, staff, and educational outreach. We plan on achieving this by utilizing and improving current programs and by networking with other organizations. 2. Increase Interest & Attendance: ideas included hands-across-campus event, chalking, themed meetings, hosting a gay prom, pool parties, free t-shirts, all-greek educationals, a hot dog and cherry pie eating contest, more group discussion, karaoke, a movie of the month, Unity trivia games, interest tables in dining halls, field trips to the zoo, give-aways, light jazz music @ meetings 3. Queer studies Minor fill out CCPI form, involve dean, advisors, existing classes, need campus outreach (panels @ Safe Space, advertising) 4. Community Involvement ideas: volunteer with WAVE, go to Chicago pride parade as a group, have an open house, fundraise for victims’ services

OPEN FORUM Kicks and Pats: Kicks and Pats is a good way to anonymously vent your frustrations or sing your joys to the group. On given pieces of paper, write kicks to something bad (i.e.- “Kicks to getting sick”) or pats to something good (i.e.- “Pats to Unity!”). After being collected, these will be read aloud by the e-board members. They reserve the right to censor any paper if it contains inappropriate or offensive material.
