This competition is about participation therefore there will be no league tables maintained nor will there be trophies awarded to the league winners. The following rules apply: The game will commence with a kick forward to at a team-mate from the middle of the halfway line. If a goal is scored the game will recommence from the half-way line. All corners will be taken from the area indicated by the corner flags. Goal kicks may be taken from anywhere within the penalty area. If the goalkeeper stops the ball prior to it going out for a goal kick, the ball must be only thrown or rolled out of their hands. It can not be kicked out of their hands. A penalty will be taken from the top of the penalty area, a spot will be marked Please note that a penalty can only be awarded if a defending player has handled the ball or fouled an opposing player in the area. The off-side rule will not apply as per the full-size game. Throw-ins will be taken from where the ball goes out. Referees are encouraged to permit the player to re-take the throw-in again if taken in-correctly. Practical Recommendations All players should get an equal amount of playing time. Three-goal margin rule. If a team is winning by three or more goals, the coach should implement rules that encourages the team to pass around the ball to all members of their team prior to scoring. This encourages a whole team approach to scoring rather than one or two players dominating.
