The fourth annual Fall for Dance Festival will run from September 26 October 6, 2007, and will showcase 28 national and international companies. City Center’s Fall for Dance Festival has received national and international recognition for its quality, innovation, and success in introducing new and younger audiences to the world of dance. The 2007 Festival will feature a wide range of dance styles and traditions, from ballet, modern and tap dance to Indian Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dances, South African Pantsula, hip-hop, and tango. Rudolf Laban, the greatest movement theorist of the 20th Century, established a system to access, explore, notate and understand movement.
