Offsite (or Vendor) Facility Requirements: For Computer Application Training courses only. The facility is located in Nova Scotia The facility is wheelchair accessible. The facility is scent free. The facility can accommodate special learning requirements based on participants needs (sign language instructor, large monitor for visually impaired participants). All audio-visual, software, hardware, and appropriate systems networking are provided for each course. Training room comfortably accommodates up to 12 participants Ratio of 1 computer per 1 participant. Ergonomically correct workstations with adequate working space. Personal amenities are available at training location (washroom, telephone, coffee/lunch area). Minimal noise distractions. Support staff are available to greet, direct & advise participants on arrival for course. Natural light with effective window coverings. Coffee, tea, and muffins are provided for the morning refreshment break by the Vendor. Fresh water is available throughout the day. Desirable Criteria Distance education, e-learning, and/or mobile capability in order to deliver courses in various regions across the province. Policy allowing government employees to attend public courses at a government rate, which is equal to or less than, the rate proposed in this response.
