Dear Parents of children currently in Years 2 and 3

     Years 3 and 4 Stubbington Study Centre Residential Visit - 2010

I know it seems a long way off but from Monday 27th
September 2010 until Friday 1st October 2010,
Years 3 and 4 will be undertaking their residential visit
to Stubbington Study Centre. The centre has
outstanding facilities for learning about habitats,
wildlife, the seashore and a whole range of activities to
promote endurance and teambuilding skills.

The cost of the visit is £180.00 for the week and I can assure you that it is a
week that children remember positively for the rest of their lives! I can still
remember going as a child myself and I am sure that some of you will have
visited the centre and with fond memories too!

 If you would like to secure a place for your child to attend Stubbington Study
Centre, please fill out and return the form to the school office with a deposit of
£10.00 by Tuesday 30th March 2010. Your child will then be issued with a
payment card so that you can make weekly payments, spread the cost and
make it manageable. We have tried to allow plenty of time for payment so that
every child should have the opportunity to attend. Final payments would need
to be made by Friday 17th September 2010.

I know that it can be very daunting for some of you to think of your children
being away from home, while others of you will no doubt be overjoyed at the
thought so I will be doing a presentation about Stubbington Study Centre on
Monday 1st March at 3:20pm in the Blackbirds Classroom. I strongly
recommend that you all attend and your child is welcome to join you! A crèche
facility will be set up for older and younger siblings. The presentation will give
you a great deal of information and reassurance about the residential visit.

the school office. I am happy to speak to you one to one if you prefer as I
know some issues can be delicate.

I enclose a deposit of £10.00 and understand that the full payment of £180.00
will need to be paid by the date given.

I understand that money paid is non-refundable should I choose to withdraw
my child from the visit to Stubbington Study Centre.
