NEW 2007 FEMA REQUIREMENTS FOR ELEVATION CERTIFICATES
In addition to the previous information required for elevation certificates, the new 2007 FEMA forms effective January 1 require that the following also be provided: • Photos of the building (At least two photos of the front, sides or rear of the building must be taken. They must be identified with the date and “Front, Rear, Right Side or Left Side View” as a title. Then they must be attached to the specified pages of the certification.) Longitude and latitude coordinates Square footage of attached garage (Please note: This may require an estimate on the part of the field crew, if the depth of the garage into the building structure is not evident.)

As a result of the additional information and time needed to complete these items, Target Surveying will be increasing the costs of their elevation certificates to: • • Elevation Certificate ordered with survey - $150 Elevation Certificate only - $250
