Devon and the Slave Trade
25 to 28 February 2008
This exhibition was devised in Devon to be part of the rec-
ognition of the bicentenary of the abolition of the slave
trade in the British Empire. Exhibition in the Chaplaincy.
Dr Gray will present a short talk at 3pm on
28 February in the Chaplaincy. Dr Gray is an Honor-
ary Research Fellow of the University of Exeter, is the author of more than 40
books on the South West of England, including Devon & The Slave Trade. He
is Chairman of The Devonshire Association and Friends of Devon’s Archives.
