This list includes those parties that have been sent an e-mail indicating the availability of MTD's Battery-Electric Shuttle RFP. It is the policy of MTD to make this information available to any requesting parties and to post it on the procurement page of the MTD website. The primary reason for this policy is to assist in the potential connection of subcontractors and suppliers with contractors thereby maximizing information, innovation and competition. Please note the following facts regarding this matter and the list: •A public notice advertising the availability of the RFP was posted in the Santa Barbara News-Press , a local newspaper of general circulation, on January 15 and February 2; and in the February 2 edition of Passenger Transport , a bi-weekly periodical issued by the American Public Transportation Association, including both their hardcopy and on-line editions. •The list only reflects those parties that were sent an e-mail with a link to MTD's website procurement page. MTD does not track nor is it aware of those parties that have actually visited the page or downloaded the RFP, which may include parties not on the list. •The list is composed of parties that were on a list for a similar solicitation in 2005; plus other parties that have requested to be added to the list since that time; plus other parties that MTD is aware of that may manufacture items potentially applicable to the solicitiation; less parties that have specifically stated that they are not interested in the current solicitation and wish to be removed from the list. •Inclusion on the list does not reflect an endorsement of the party, its products or its services; its suitablity or capability of meeting the requirements of the solicitation; or its intentions of participating in the solicitation.
