									LEGAL NOTICE COUNTY OF COOK REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS ISSUED BY THE BUREAU OF ADMINISTRATION REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT DIVISION, COOK COUNTY The County owns certain currently vacant land in the area of the Criminal Courts Complex at 26th and Washtenaw bounded by 26th Place, Rockwell Avenue and Washtenaw Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. The County is currently seeking proposals from parties interested in presenting special events at this location for one or more years, beginning with the summer of 2008. Sealed proposals will be received by the County of Cook, Real Estate Management Division, at the George W. Dunne Administration Building, 69 W. Washington St., Chicago, IL 60602, Room 1060, on Friday, January18, 2008 no later than 3:00 p.m. Information and RFP forms will be available for pick-up from December 27, 2007 – January 14, 2008 from the Cook County Real Estate Management Division, George W. Dunne Administration Building, 69 W. Washington St., Suite 1060, Chicago, Illinois 60602, Telephone: 312-603-0040. The County of Cook reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and waive technicalities. Each interested party should inspect the Property prior to submitting a proposal. This is a Request for Proposals only. It is not a guarantee on the part of the County that an Agreement will be entered into. The County of Cook, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the regulations of the Illinois Department of Transportation, Chapter 49, C.F.R. (Part 21) issued pursuant to such Act, and in accordance with Cook County ordinances, will affirmatively insure the acceptance of any bid pursuant to this notice or advertisement will be without discrimination on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin.
