Voyeur In Berlin,
VOYEUR members: Robyn Voshardt/Sven Humphrey, Bridget Walker, Sofi Basseghi, Manos/Buckius were included in the international screening; ‘Monumental’ 8 February 2008 Directors Lounge, Scala Theater in Berlin. The program was curated by VOYEUR member Kim Collmer with assistance from the Voyeur Collective. Monumental shows work which in some ways both subverts and rallies behind the notion of monument. Often a singular object suggesting timelessness, the nature of monuments and their meaning becomes more complex as we see evidence of crumbling dynasties around us. The theme for the screening is loosely addressed with works about religious ritual, technology, unfilled journeys, political commemoration, home, pompous ritual, cultural history, and nature’s glories.

Voyeur At hOur Factory,
VOYEUR members: Alex Staiger, Ulrika Holmlund, Kristin Skees, Monique Malone, Bridget Walker, Co Grundler, Talice Lee, Sofi Basseghi and Shannon Carpenter were included in the newest of the newan art event featuring music, video, art, performance and sculpture. All artists responded to the theme ‘Unwrapped’, 1 March with a 7pm start. 2/181 Smith St, Fitzroy, Australia. www.hourfactory.org
