      How to program your 200 remote
There are two steps to successfully program a new remote. First you have to program your remote to your
gateway and then program your remote to a TV. Please note that your gateway may be in a different
location from your TV. Step 1 instructions include many steps at the location of the gateway. Step 2
instructions include all steps at your TV. To successfully program your remote, start with Step 1 and then
flip the page to find Step 2.


                             STEP 1
1. Make sure your TV is set to channel 3. If not, then change
   the channel with the buttons on the TV.
2. Pointing the remote at the gateway, Press ‘A’ until the
   infa-red light flashes.
3. Once you see it flash, press 7890.
4. ON YOUR GATEWAY, (not the remote), hit menu. (If you
   have a blue gateway it will be a picture of a wrench.)
5. While pointing the remote at the gateway, press the blue
   down arrow key on your remote. You should now see the
   option for ‘Remote Set-Up” selected on your TV screen.
   Pointing the remote at the gateway, hit the select button on
   your remote.
6. You will now be in a different screen on your TV. Again
   while pointing the remote at the gateway, press the PPV
   button to retrieve gateway ID. On your TV, you will now see
   a three digit number. Remember this number!
7. Back at your gateway, point the remote at your gateway and
   hold the ‘B’ button down until the infa-red light flashes.
   Once it flashes, press ‘789xxx’ with the three x’s being your
   three digit code. Ex: If your three digit code is 123, you
   would enter 789123.
8. The TV you want the new remote to be programmed to is set
   to a specific channel on your gateway. You have 3 options: If
   your TV is on channel 3, you are on stream 1. If your TV is
   on channel 10, you are on stream 2. If your TV is on channel
   13, you are stream 3. Check what channel your TV is on.
9. With the remote pointing at the gateway, hold down ‘A’ until
   your infa-red light flashes. Press 789x, with ‘x’ being the
   stream you are on. For example, if you are on stream 1, you
   would enter 7891. The infa-red light should flash.
10.Test your remote by changing the channels.

                        STEP 2

STEP 2 instructions all take place at your TV,
not the gateway.

1. TV must be on.
2. Hold ‘mute’ on your remote until the infa-red
   light flashes.
3. Press the power button on your remote, the
   infa-red should stay solid red.
4. Slowly, press (repeatedly) the blue up arrow
   key until your TV shuts off. (This could take
   up to five minutes.) Once your TV is off, press
   the select button.
5. Now test your remote, by pressing the power
   button and volume.

     Congratulations, you have successfully
          programmed your remote!
