       How to Install and Start Cisco VPN software
                For Windows 98 and XP
CISCO Client Install
1) Obtain a copy of the install file and configuration profile
2) Place the needed ZIP files in temporary directories and extract them
3) From this extracted location click on the setup executable file, this will start the installer as follows
4) Click on Next




5) Click on radio button “I accept the license agreement” then the Next button




6) Take these default locations then click Next

7) Software now install, this may take several minutes
8) Final install screen click on Finish




9) For setting to be final you have to restart the computer

       How to Install and Start Cisco VPN software
                For Windows 98 and XP
1) Start > All Programs > Cisco System VPN Client > VPN Client
2) Connection entries > Import




3) Navigate to the location of saved configuration file and point to that file (UNI VPN.pcf)
4) Client will then bring in the required profile for use at UNI
5) NOTE: DO NOT CHANGE the Group Authentication Name or Password !!!

Connecting to UNI via VPN

1) Establish a normal internet connection via broadband or dial up connection
2) Start Cisco client
3) Click on “Connect”
4) System ask for your active directory User name and Password
5) Once verified the software will inform you that the VPN connection has been established. An icon that looks
    like a Gold Lock will be placed on the task bar.
6) To disconnect from VPN, right click on Icon in task bar and select disconnect
