Liberty Mutual's Group Market is hiring for its entry-level Claims Case Manager Trainee role in
their Short-Term Disability department with an anticipated start date of June/July 2010. The Case
Manager Trainee position begins with participation in a 4-6 week training program where the
principles of managing disability claims are learned. After participating in the training program,
on-the-job training begins where individuals start to apply the skills learned in training to actual
claims management with the guidance of a mentor.

Responsibilities:

       Active participation in training to develop the knowledge, skills and capabilities needed to
        be a successful Claims Case Manager
       Acquire the skills to accept or deny disability claims through conducted investigations,
        review of medical records and conversations with medical professionals
       Apply appropriate contractual provisions, legal guidelines, case management resources
        and claim procedures, concepts, principles, and protocols to risk manage claims

Qualifications:

Successful candidates for the Disability Claims Case Manager position will have:

       Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
       Excellent ability to multi-task.
       Ability to demonstrate qualities such as decision-making, customer service, excellent
        communication, and interpersonal skills.
       Knowledge of insurance, medical terminology, and case management in same or similar
        discipline preferred.
