UNIVERSIDAD BLAS PASCAL CÓRDOBA

Location
The campus is in Argüello, a residential neighborhood in the city of
Córdoba. Córdoba is the second largest city in Argentina. In addition,
it is known as La Docta (from the Latin docere, meaning “to teach”),
because it is home to more than 130,000 students from Argentina and
around the world who seek to gain not only academic knowledge but
also cultural immersion.

Program details                                                                  Dates
U Blas Pascal o ers a cultural immersion language program for
beginner and intermediate level students. Depending on their level of            6-Week Program: June 28 – August 6, 2010
language pro ciency, students are o ered either a 6-week (Beginner

provide students with opportunities to participate in tango lessons,
horseback-riding lessons, and other cultural activities and excursions.          ISEP-direct cost
Sophomores are welcome to apply, and students may choose to                      $3,000 (6-week program) or $2,000 (4-week program

Eligibility for the 6-Week Beginner Program: 2 semesters of university-
level Spanish or the equivalent.

university-level Spanish or the equivalent.

Courses and credits
Upon arrival, students take a placement test to determine the
appropriate language class for their level. Classes meet 3 hours a
day, 5 days a week. Students earn a total of 60 credit hours for the
4-week program and 90 for the 6-week program.

Housing and meals
Students are housed with Argentinean families. All meals and laundry
service are included.
