How to View Shared Calendars
Using Outlook 2003 Calendar
Once your account has been migrated to the Exchange server you can take
advantage of viewing other staff members’ calendars using Outlook instead of
having to call them. This guide will walk you through the steps to view shared
calendars. You can also see the guide on “How to Share Your Calendar” to give
others access to view your calendar.
Open Microsoft Office Outlook 2003. Click on ‘Calendar’ on the left side of the
window, towards the bottom. You will be in the Calendar window of Outlook:
In the left column click on the “Open a Shared Calendar” link and click on ‘Name…’ in
the pop-up menu:
In the ‘Add Users’ window type in the name of the person whose calendar you want
to view and click ‘Add’ at the bottom.
If they have given you rights to their calendar the calendar will open up. You can
uncheck their calendar in the left column if you don’t want to view it all the time.
If you need to view it just check the box next to their name.
To share your calendars with others see the ‘How to Share Your Calendar” guide at
