Schedule.

                                            Fall Semester 2009
Jun. 1 – Aug. 3            Period for students to apply for Fall 2009 graduation within their respective Divisions.
Aug. 3                     Tuition emergency loans start.
Aug. 13                    Fall Payment Deadline. A $35 Late Payment Fee will be assessed for registering and/or
                           paying after this date.
Aug. 17                    General Faculty/Staff Meeting.
Aug. 17-18                 Academic Division Meetings.
Aug. 20                    First class meetings of Fall Semester.
Aug. 27, 5 p.m.            Deadline for students applying for Fall 2009 graduation to complete the Graduation
                           Candidacy form and pay graduation fees within their respective Divisions.
Aug. 27-Sept. 4            Permission from the professor required to register for classes.
Sept. 4, 5 p.m.            Deadline for students applying for Fall 2009 graduation to complete the Change of Name
                           and/or Change of Major form(s) at the Welcome Center, if applicable.
Sept. 4, 5p.m.             NO REGISTRATION BEYOND THIS POINT. Twelfth Class Day. Census Date.
Sept. 7                    Labor Day holiday.
Oct. 1 – Oct. 31           Period for students to apply for Spring 2010 graduation within their respective Divisions.
Oct. 29, 5 p.m.            Last day to drop a course with an automatic Q.
Oct. 30                    Title IV 60% of semester.
Oct. 30                    Tuition emergency loans due.
Nov. 2                     Registration for Spring Semester 2010 begins.
Nov. 26-28                 Thanksgiving holidays.
Dec. 7, 5 p.m.             Last day to drop a course or withdraw from the university.
Dec. 7-10                  Dead Week.
Dec. 9                     Last class day.
Dec. 10                    Study Day (no classes).
Dec. 11-12 and 14-17       Final examinations for Fall Semester.
Dec. 15, 9 a.m.            Graduating students' grades due.
Dec. 18, 7 p.m.            Commencement.
Dec. 21, 9 a.m.            All grades due via the web at Blue and Gold Connection.

Jan. 18                    Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday.
Jan. 19                    General Faculty/Staff Meeting and Academic Division meetings.

Jan. 20, 8 a.m.            First class meetings of Spring Semester.

                      Candidacy form and pay graduation fees within their respective Divisions.
May 10, 5 p.m.        Last day to drop a course or withdraw from the university.
May 10-13             Dead Week.
May 11                Last class day.
May 12-13             Study Days (no classes).
May 14-15 and 17-20   Final examinations for spring semester.
