District Calendars and Menus
There are new district calendars and menu calendars on the website. To
access the calendar, open a web browser and go to the district site
(www.fctigers.org) or any page on the www.fctigers.org website. Click
on the picture below District Calendars and Menus.
This brings up the below calendar. By clicking on the Help button, you
can go through a Tutorial. It is recommended that you go through the
Tutorial, which is more descriptive than these brief directions. The
Menus section is not included in the Tutorial because that is new.

The event calendar opens with every event at every school. You can filter events so that you only see a
particular school or a particular activity. To begin, click the word Filter. Below are some of the Filter menus.

You can use one or any combinations of them. For example, to see a list of all of the middle school
football games, first select Falls City Middle School under By School and then select Football under By
Activity. If you only want to see the 7th grade football games, you also select Falls City MS Football - 7th
under Groups.
If you want to select more than one school, activity, group, etc., click Advanced Filter to bring up window
with all of the filters. Use the Command key to select multiple items in a menu.
You can print the filtered calendar by clicking the printer icon. If you want the Event Calendar to fill the
sheet, go to Page Setup and choose the landscape orientation.
After you do any filtering on the Event calendar, make
sure you Clear the filter to get back to the original
calendar.
You can obtain sports schedules and monthly schedules of events in a
list view by clicking on the Schedules icon in the top menu.
Click on one of the listed schedules to
bring up the schedule. The list at the left is
not a complete list.
The resulting schedule allows you to download the events for importing into a personal calendar by clicking
“Add to my calendar.” Clicking on “Printable Data” will produce a .pdf file that can be printed. The events
under “Event Name” can be clicked on for more information about that event. Maps of the location can be
produced by clicking on a place under “Location.”
The schedules listed at the bottom that are titled “Falls City Public Schools Event Calendar for [month name]
[year]” list all of the events at all schools for that month.
Any event that is cancelled will appear both on the schedule and in the calendar view with a line through it.
The breakfast and lunch menus are available on the calendar by clicking Menus. That will bring up the breakfast
and lunch menus for all of the schools.
To get certain menus, you can
use the Filter.
You can filter just By School, which will
give the breakfast and lunch menus at the
chosen school.
You can filter By Menu Type, which will
give the Breakfast Menus, Combo Line,
(only available at the high school) or
Lunch Menus at all schools.
You can also use both the Campus and Menu Type filters. To do that,, first choose a school under By School
and then choose a menu under Menu Type. For example, choosing Falls City High School under By School
and Lunch under By Menu Type will give you the lunch menu at Falls City High School. By clicking the
printer icon, you can print the menu. If you want the menu to fill the sheet, go to Page Setup and choose the
landscape orientation.
After you do any filtering on the Menu calendar, make
sure you Clear the filter to get back to the original
calendar.
