Business Analyst – Financials Team
Infor is looking for a Business analyst to join the Financials team based in Farnborough. The
Business Analyst is to help transform market-driven requirements into new software products or
software product upgrades.
Gather business requirements for an assigned development project or product
Analyse business requirements to ensure they are clearly understood.
Validate and prioritise requirements having regard to existing commitments, commercial
imperatives and product strategy.
Contribute to the design and realisation of solutions to agreed requirements.
Document and communicate the proposed realisation in accordance with approved
Ensure that requirement and design documents are appropriately distributed, reviewed,
discussed, modified, and ultimately approved.
Represent stakeholders within development team, ensuring that developments meet the
business requirement and are fit for purpose.
Carry out integration testing and system testing of new development work as assigned.
Work closely with front line support staff, Infor services and partners, and customers as
required, in order to resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner.
Investigate, validate and prioritise reported product faults
Assist the development team as necessary in terms of testing fault fixes, customer
Identify and report areas for improvement in both software and documentation.
Ensure that multi-lingual & performance implications of all software are fully considered
Manager and team colleagues (Daily)

Education, Training, and Qualifications Required
‘A’ Level education
Educated to degree level or equivalent

Experience of using or developing ERP systems OR
Experience as a Business Analyst in Software Development Process
Desirable but not essential skills and experience:
Knowledge of Financial / Accounting systems
Knowledge of UML / Use Cases
Knowledge of UI design principles
Knowledge of iterative software development
Good communication skills, (written, verbal, presentational)
Good ‘consensus builder’
