Ultimately we are looking to create a Preferred Lawyer list to enable Law firms to decide which talents they would like to represent. FAST stands for “Find a Soccer Talent”, the portal is www.findasoccertalent.com it is a platform where Talents interested in professional football upload their complete multimedia profile for Football Clubs to discover. The multimedia profile includes football resume, achievements, national team exposure, pictures and videos of training and matches. Professional Football Clubs via their scouts are given access to the portal to detect new talents, review their profile and determine which talent they are interested in. Agents are required for each talent from the start of the process in order to facilitate the negotiation of contracts.The Scouts will be able to see the Talents prospective football itinerary and determine when to see the talent and express an interest to Talent’s Agent in order to start the negotiation. What is FAST? Requirements for Agents Under FIFA rules Lawyers can represent Talents in negotiating contracts and in return be rewarded up to 10% of the contract value. Each Talent requires an Agent, Scouts will be able to make contact with the agent when an interest in generated in the Talent. www.findasoccertalent.com will generate Talents from across various countries including those in Africa and South America, due to the fact that we are focusing on mostly new talents majority of them will not have agents. Other benefits www.findasoccertalent.com also aims to provide Intellectual Property exploitation and will require Intellectual Property Lawyers to assist the Talents that exhibit IPR interests.
