It seems that the US economy has reached a tipping point, spiraling down to a crash not seen since the Great Depression of the 1930s. Many companies will fail; folks will continue to lose homes and jobs and will not have access to the things they need for daily sustenance. Eventually they'll start to realize no other person or the government is going to be able to do as much for them as they can do for themselves. This is an especially critical time for credit professionals. It is incumbent upon them to stand firm and insist that time-tested credit guidelines and principles are adhered to in their companies. Credit professionals can do a lot to help make this nation strong again.
