The year 2008 was another groundbreaking year for the Institute of Credit Management in which it made significant strides in promoting the importance of credit management and credit management professionals to industry and the government. The key achievement for the year has to be the continued increase in new members, repeating the success in 2007. The Institute continues to enhance the 'value' of membership, and be proactive in communicating both new and existing benefits to members. Without doubt the highlight in 2008 has been its close co-operation with government, and specifically the Department for Business. and to be progressive. The year 2008 was an excellent example of demonstrating the Institute's core values in action.
