GANTT CHART TEMPLATE
Project Title:
Tasks Year 1 Evaluate Luminex and OligoRapid platforms for FMDV detection using two recombinant FMDV antigens and two available FMDV specific antibodies (one monoclonal and the other polyclonal) Generate recombinant FMDV antibodies for both antibody and antigen test development Generate monoclonal antibodies to expressed immunogenic proteins of West Nile virus No appropriate monocloncal antibodies generated to WNV. Move resources into recombinant antibodies. Year 2 Produce recombinant antigens for Nipah, Hendra, West Nile, Kunjin, Murray Valley encephalitis and Japanese encephalitis viruses OliogRapid platform not performing efficiently when multiplexed > 3. Move resources onto Luminex and speed up FMDV tests. Optimise Luminex and OligoRapid tests for FMDV OligoRapid test for detection of antibody to FMDV Monoclonal antibodies and expressed antigens assessed for use in West Nile competitive ELISA assays using panels of reference sera from humans and animals infected with WNV, KUN and closely related flaviviruses WNV monoclonal antibodies do not perform effectively in C-ELISA. Develop Luminex platform. Year 3 Complete laboratory trials of optimised subtype specific serological assays for WNV Develop and evaluate Luminex and OligoRapid tests for henipaviruses Develop and evaluate Luminex and OligoRapid hand held test for flaviviruses Complete field trials of OligoRapid hand held test for FMDV Luminex and OligoRapid tests for henipaviruses (Hendra and Nipah viruses) Luminex and OligoRapid hand held test for flaviviruses (Japanese encephalitis virus, Kunjin virus and West Nile virus) OligoRapid hand held test for foot and mouth disease virus
