SUPPLY DIVISION CAREER LADDER
Liaison Engineer - Level __4__
Purpose and Scope
Provides technical expertise, functional support and professional advice to all users within ADCO on
international/industry standards, engineering codes of practice and specifications related to stock and direct
materials. Participates in specification preparation, bid evaluation, ordering & inspection of materials, equipment
and spare parts. Liaisons with fields, terminal, drilling, engineering and suppliers with the aim of ensuring that
stock items are maintained at optimum and economical level consistent with established operation requirements.
Liaisons with concerned divisions and within ADCO and other OPCOs on matters related to materials
standardization. Provides technical input in relation to disposal of surplus materials.
Manages updates to technical specifications & provides technical input to the procurement of approximately 24,
500 stock items for ADCO Joint Venture and more than 3100 items for ADNOC Sole Risk (ASR) with an
estimated value in excess of us $ 122 m.
Liaison Engineers working in the four procurement departments within the Supply Division will be fully
interchangeable with each other at this level.
