Following Foundation Funding
his month, the AANA Foundation caught up with Charles
T Griffis, CRNA, PhD to find out how the $40,000 in funding he
received was assisting him in his research goals. Dr. Griffis was
the 2006 Post Doctoral Fellowship Award winner for his research
entitled, “The Effect of Pain on Leukocyte Cellular Adhesion Molecule
“Soon after completing my PhD from the UCLA School of
Nursing, I received the AANA Foundation Post-Doctoral Fellowship

females were recruited to undergo several experimental pain tests.
