In an article e-published on January 19 ahead of print in Annals of Oncology, Spillane and colleagues from the University of Sydney (Australia) reported on an analysis of data on sentinel node biopsy of internal mammary nodes in breast cancer, with a focus on identifying data that could clarify current controversies about techniques for lymphatic mapping, safety of the procedure, and potential benefits to patients.
