					                   AHSJ SCHOOL UNIFORM POLICY
Purpose:
The purpose of uniforms is for each student to be equal in their clothing and appearance. Dressing
uniformly reduces distraction and puts the focus on academics. We feel that uniforms establish the
appropriate distinction between the sexes, as well as providing a sense of belonging. Uniforms look
better, hold up longer, and cost less over time. Students wearing uniforms are also more secure, as
an intruder can be spotted quickly.

It is the responsibility of the parents to provide students with the appropriate uniform to wear and to
support and enforce the uniform policy.
