The CITD of Citrus College (Citrus College website: www.citrus.cc.ca.us) was established in 1990 to serve small/medium sized business, and entrepreneurial startups for all of Los Angeles County and parts of Orange County. Currently the CITD of Citrus College provides one-on-one international trade (export & import) counseling (at client's facility and/or our service delivery centers) and training on international trade (export & import) to the businesses of the inland-non-coastal areas of Los Angeles County: Within this area the CITD of Citrus College maintains service delivery centers in: · Pomona [main office] · Azusa · City of Commerce · Glendale · Monterey Park · South Central Los Angeles · Pacoima · Van Nuys The areas of Los Angeles County served by the CITD of Citrus College contain a wide variety of businesses and products/services offerings. Similarly, the clients/products/industries served by the CITD of Citrus College range from agricultural, apparel/clothing, auto parts, computer products, consumer electronics, engineered products, processed foods, used vehicles, and telecommunications equipment.

The CMTAC of Citrus College's program is designed to complement the services of the CITD of Citrus College by focusing on our #1 trading partner, Mexico. Through the CMTAC of Citrus College businesses can gain valuable knowledge and support for entering Mexico's growing market. International Business Resources Quickly and efficiently identify and access the information you need to make decisions; international trade resources, research, and networking. Learn about various federal, state and local resources. 3. Int’l Trade Pricing & Quotations International terms of trade (INCOTERMS), and equating these to cost involved, profit margins, bundling strategies, cost analysis, and the quotation process. 4. Finding Products to Sell & Buyers to Buy Identifying and qualifying a target market, its wants and needs; identifying and qualifying a product’s potential to satisfy a target market’s wants and needs. 5. The ABC’s of Importing How importing may help expand both your U.S. domestic markets and your international exports markets. Gain a basic understanding of the process and regulations for importing into the U.S. 6. The Mayor’s Office of International Trade works in conjunction with CITD/CMTAC, to offer BITS (Building International Trade Skills) workshops.
