{Recommendation: Agree}


3        REFRESHING THE COMMUNITY PLAN - Report dated 12 January 2004 by
Karen Cawte, Policy Support Officer - Community Planning. {Recommendation:
AGREE: ( I ) the refreshed Community Plan, including the new structures and remits; (2)
the group should now be referred to as the Community Planning Partnership; (3) the group
will elect a Vice Chair; (4) the group will meet four times a year; and (5) Members will be
asked to make a written declaration to committing their organisations to the principles of
Community Planning}.


4       FUNDING FOR COMMUNITY PLANNING PARTNERSHIPS - Report dated
13 January 2004 by Karen Cawte, Policy Support Officer - Community Planning -
{Recommendation: NOTE the allocation o f f 16,000 for development funding; and AGREE
the formation and membership of a short-life working group to progress the proposals}.


5      COUNCIL REVIEW OF FUNDING FOR THE VOLUNTARY SECTOR,
PHASE 2 - REVIEW OF COUNCIL SYSTEMS AND ARRANGEMENTS- Report
dated 16 January 2004 by Leslie Jardine, Corporate Director for Corporate Services
- {Recommendation:     CONFIRM participation of the three grant providers (NHS Dumfries
and Galloway, Scottish Enterprise Dumfries and Galloway, Scottish Natural Heritage;
AGREE four Voluntary Sector organisation participants being representative of Voluntary
Sector "grant recipients'y.
