                                 Marketing and Sales Specialist
                                      Woodridge, Illinois

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science with an MBA. 1-2 years of experience in developing market
studies in a technical business, preferably within the metals industry. SAP experience preferred.
Must have some familiarity with design and maintenance of intranet web pages, product data sheets, and
hyperlinks to other applications.

Basic Function:
Conduct market research to provide industry and competitive information utilizing internet resources,
paper and electronic publications and industry-specific databases. Utilize market research to develop ITP
business and commercial strategies, which optimize full value chain of titanium products and achieves
ITP’s optimum profit. To market all current and future products originating from ITP’s production plants.
Identify new business opportunities and market the resultant products. Develop synergistic business
opportunities with other Cristal businesses and third party companies. As business develops, manage
sales of products originating from titanium production plants and act as a customer liaison for technical
service requirements with ITP R&D. Manage customer complaints and product stewardship
requirements.

Responsibilities:
1. Perform all job responsibilities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner including product
    stewardship management.
2. Formulate and implement market plans for current and future products that maximize product value
    chain profit and support overall business plan objectives.
3. Help in the development and managing of sales contracts.
4. Interact regularly with technically oriented internal and external customers to communicate and/or help
    negotiate complex commercial related issues.
5. Establish and recommend pricing ranges and maintain SAP PAR pricing database for approval.
6. Liaise with Manufacturing to ensure that all products meet quality requirements and supply or
    coordinate customer technical support in conjunction with Engineering or R&D.
7. Help set criteria for customer selection and the actual selection of customers through market and
    profitability analysis that inputs to overall ITP business plan and objectives.
8. Develop and maintain appropriate database of key information.
9. Adjust and develop sales forecasts to be approved for SAP.
10. Analyze logistics to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
11. Develop detailed understanding of market drivers and dynamics for different market segments.
12. Other duties as assigned.

General Information:
This position reports to the Director Business Development and Supply Chain. Hours are normally 7:00
AM – 4:00 PM, but occasional overtime will be required. This is a salaried, exempt position. Some travel
may be required.
