1. Search engines (google).

As many of us already know, Google is rated by many as the number one search engine in the world.
Statistics say that all websites get about 90% of their search engine traffic direct from Google searches. Most
people check only 1-3 first pages from SERPs.

2. What is SEO.

Search Engine Optimization is the process of making your site appear at the top of search engine results pages
for your domain-specific keywords and phrases. The higher your website ranks in the results of Google, the
greater the chance that your site will be visited by many, which in turn would improve your sales from e. g.
internet clothes shop. Simply put, Search Engine Optimization is about making your website visible on search

3. Why is SEO so important.

Everyday, millions of people search the web to find out what they look for. If your website doesn't come up
top in the results, you lose your business to your competitors. SEO is important not only because it brings lots
of visitors to your website, but also because it helps to increase the return on investment, if harnessed
properly. Say for example, you have a website that sells mobile phones online. Optimizing the site for
targeted keywords like 'low cost mobile phones' would bring it to the top results on popular search engines.
This would in turn bring prospective customers to your site, which would result in higher sales.

However, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a process that requires patience, careful planning, and a long-
term approach .

4. How to improve your position in search engine.

On Page SEO

On page seo includes everything you can do on a given page to increase its chances of being found in a search
engine. It includes all of your content and the way you present that content. It includes where, how, and how
often you use your keywords on your page and even what other pages of your site and other sites you link to
and how you link to those pages.

By far the most important piece of writing you’ll do on any given page is your page title. Search engines
consider your page title to be very indicative of what can be found on the page so you’d better make sure to
get some keywords in your pages titles. I’m not talking about spamming your page title with a long list of
keywords, but your most important keyword for that page should be included in your page title.

Link Building

Link building will prove to be what has the greatest effect in your seo efforts. That doesn’t mean you should
ignore any of the above, but in the end it will probably be the number and quality of links pointing to your site
that will be what gets your web pages found in search engines. It certainly will be for competitive keywords
and without many many quality links pointing to your site you will not be able to consistently(konsekwentnie)
rank on any competitive(konkurencyjny) keywords.

Link building is a never ending process. It’s not something you do for a few weeks and then stop to rest on
your laurels. You should always be looking for other sites that will link to yours and doing what you can to
get other sites to link to yours naturally. While in general more links are better not all links are created equal
and there are some you don’t want to spend your time trying to get. Free for all (FFA) links pages and link
farms are best to stay away from. Most will simply do nothing for your site, but some will be harmful to your

There are many different ways to get links to your site and often it can be hard to decide where it’s best to get
links. As a general rule if you think about that other site and if the visitors of that site will likely find your site
useful and interesting and even better if visitors on that other site might be likely to click on a link to your site
then you do want a link on that site back to yours.

The website quality is like some article quality. The quality of this article is higher when other authors refer to
this article in their own texts. For google its: the quality of website is higher when other webmasters put links
to this page on their own page. Generally speaking, a link from a page to another page is viewed by Google
web-spiders as a vote for that page the link points to.

And this leads us to the toughest part of the Google SEO process -- back-links. Back links are websites that
link directly to your website. The general principal is the more back links you have, the higher your pages will
be ranked, as your website must be good if so many other sites are linking back to it.

There is also a ranking created by Google to rank page quality. It’s a PageRank. It’s the number from 0 to 10.
The PR of simple page depends on many components e. g. content uniquity, IBL’s and many others. No one
knows all of PR algorithm components. (Larry Page, Sergey Brin).

If you have original quality content on a site, you have a chance of generating quality links. If your content is
found on other websites, you will find it hard to get links. If you have a lot of duplicate content found on other
websites Google knows about, Google will ignore your page.

Original content is king and will attract a “natural link growth” in Google’s eyes. Too many incoming links
too fast might devalue your site.

Beyond using links to navigate a site and the Internet, links are valuable to search engines as they can help the
engines understand what a site is about. The text in these links called anchor text is a great clue to the search
engines in determining what a site is about. They reckon if there’s a link with “car service” in the text points
to a site that probably has something to do about car service (imagine how many sites are about “click
here…”). Site owners can use this to their advantage by placing relevant keywords in the anchors text within a
site. Doing this helps search engines determine what various pages on the site are about.
