Engineering team in our Coppell, TX location.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The ideal candidates will be experienced in Network Management systems and software managing wireless RF products,
skills in RF performance managements and fault management concepts and procedures.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical leadership in supporting the sales, implementation and support of Powerwave products with a primary
emphasis, but not limited to Powerwave’s Network Management products and services. Provide pre and post sale technical
support application on all Powerwave products.
The following are the ESSENTIAL DUTIES of this position:
• Develop and implement Network Managements services including Netway consulting, NOC monitoring and other
NMS specialized services.
• Provide leadership and contribute to a technical support team providing application engineering and fault
management to internal and external customers.
• Provide key experts on Powerwave’s Network Management systems and related Powerwave managed elements.
• Develop and maintain an expert level knowledge on the fault and performance managements systems,
interconnectivity of all Powerwave products.
• Develop and maintain a basic technical support capability on all Powerwave product lines. In addition develop
specific product line expertise as assigned.
• Provide direct support to Powerwave’s customers via phone, lab or on site.
• Maintains comprehensive Engineering notebooks documenting all general technical activities. Provide direct line
manager with weekly activity summary (activities accomplishments and issues0 and record on PW time, weekly
hours per project.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor degree in computer science or electrical engineering and seven years of RF/wireless/NMS engineering
services.
• Experienced in Network Managements systems and software managing wireless RF products, skills in RF
performance management and fault management concepts and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
• Strong verbal and written communication skills that clearly convey information and ideas. Ability to communicate in
such a way to influence peers and management, as well as communicate well cross-functionally in a professional
manner. Communication capabilities are strong enough to help drive change.
• Ability to use Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, CAD and Visio software programs, to a level of professional
proficiency. Able to produce professional Engineering reports including introductions, conclusions and
recommendations.
• Ability to analyze and resolve technical problems of a complex nature quickly and independently.
• Proven capability to give meaningful presentations to design teams and customers that are professional and clearly
convey information.
• Advanced knowledge of RF design in wireless systems, including use of RF wireless design and performance analysis
tools such.
• Strong knowledge of RF hardware such as radio systems, amplifiers, antennas.
• Strong knowledge of control and communication theory.
• Ability to demonstrate strong and experience technical leadership.
• Ability to lead projects to on-time completion of deliverables.
• Effective customer interface and presentations that are persuasive and professional.
