                                   EXPERIENCE PROFILE

                                   Douglas C. McVarish has ten years experience in the field of historic preservation. He has collaborated on,
                                   directed, or conducted, historical and architectural projects in 16 eastern and midwestern states. These
                                   projects have been documented in historic resource survey reports, National Register nominations, and
                                   HABSIHAER recordations. Mr. McVarish has developed special expertise in the areas of American
                                   industrial history and industrial architecture, military architecture, bridge building technology, and
                                   vernacular architecture. In addition, he has become familiar with many collections of historical and
                                   architectural records in the United States and with local, state and federal regulations pertaining to historic
                                   preservation.

              EXPERIENCE PROFILE

              Richard Meyer specializes in the application of physical and documentary evidence to the interpretation of
 ;..	         buildings and landscapes. His comprehensive approach to the built environment has been shaped and
              supported by extensive travels and a broadly based academic background in the fields of architectural and
              urban history, preservation planning, and historical and urban geography. More than 20 years of historical
              project experience have afforded him the opportunity to apply his architectural, landscape, and design
              expertise to a wide variety of research problems, including some pioneering studies on airports and rail
              stations. Fwthermore, he has become familiar with the various public policies that govern the identification.,
              evaluation., and documentation of historic properties. He is particularly skilled in providing technical
              guidance to clients, ensuring that historic preservation compliance responsibilities are met without
              jeopardizing publicly funded or licensed undertakings. Mr. Meyer has managed and/or directed more than
              300 historical, architectural, and archeological projects.
