    Process characteristics:

    •   Vegetable oils and animal fats as feedstock.

    •   Significant life cycle CO2 savings.

    •   First production unit being built in Porvoo, Finland.
    •   Production capacity 170.000 tons/year.

    Product Charasteristics:
    • Reduces exhaust emissions significantly.
    • Meets the highest requirements of car manufacturers.

    • Low solubility to water.
    • Cold properties can be tailor made.
    • Can be blended up to 65% to European 10ppm diesel fuel.

NExBTL biodiesel

• Is a 100 % hydrocarbon type biobased diesel fuel
• Free of sulphur, aromatics and oxygen.
• Meets the highest requirements of automotive industry
• Reduces exhaust emissions remarkably
• Easy to blend with traditional diesel fuels
• No storage stability problems
• Clearly less fossil CO2 compared to fossil diesel fuel
• Tax incentives needed as for other traffic biofuels

     NExBTL is a Biofuel of "the second generation"
