Background
Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce (The Chamber) is officially recognised as one of the
leading Chambers in the UK, with over 2000 businesses. New companies join The Chamber each
day, these businesses range from sole traders and home workers through to Blue Chip multi-nationals
in various sectors including; IT, manufacturing, retailing, creative industries and agriculture.

Events Profile
The Chamber has earned an enviable reputation for running the best professional events in the sub-
region. Our annual calendar features in excess of 100 events, attracting high levels of attendees, and
inspirational and motivational speakers.

The majority of our events are open to members and non-members and we endeavour to help all
business representatives get the chance to talk to each other about their business.

Representing the five areas of Coventry & Warwickshire (Mid, North, South, Rugby and Coventry) we
strive to reach all areas when sourcing venues for events, giving attendees maximum opportunities to
meet businesses across the area, and our member venues the opportunity to host an event which will
bring many businesses to your venue, therefore increasing your profile and awareness across the
region.

Although it is not possible to give any guarantees with regard to levels of attendees, we will advise
our minimum and maximum target for each event upon finalising the event sponsorship agreement
and keep you updated prior to the event.

Our events will provide your venue with great marketing opportunities, not only using the Chambers
marketing communication channels but via the event itself.

Promotion
One of the aims of The Chamber is to be ‘the voice of local business’ and to this end we have
established strong links with the media and have built a widely recognised and credible brand.

The Chamber has two in-house publications, C & W in Business Newspaper, published bi-monthly
with a distribution of 5,000 and Update Newsletter, published 6 times per year, and distributed to
members only – c. 1800. Update is direct mailed to key Chamber contacts together with flyers
detailing forthcoming events.

The Chamber has also established three electronic newsletters (ezines), these consist of two bi-
monthly ezines aimed at member and non-member companies respectively and a monthly dedicated
events ezine, subscription levels stand at 5,000 individuals.

Requirements:

Over the last 18 months our member venues have sponsored approximately 85% of our events and
this is ever increasing, through one event we could be enhancing your brand awareness to over 40
businesses** and be showcasing your venue to over 60 delegates* in just a couple of hours.

All we ask in return is the use of your venue for Free, this would include the following:

•   Room hire.
•   Welcome drink – Coffee, Tea, Water, Orange Juice, Wine, this is dependant on the type of event.
•   Food – Biscuits, Breakfast rolls, Buffet Lunch, canapés / light finger buffet, afternoon tea, this I
    dependant on the type of event.
In return we would offer the following marketing opportunities to promote your venue and brand
across the whole of the Coventry & Warwickshire area.

The Sponsorship Package:

Our package will give you the opportunity to be associated with the Chamber brand, a respected and
recognised business support organisation with local and national credibility.

Package:
• Your company logo on event flyers distributed to members prior to each event and inserted into
   our literature stand and taken to events.
• Logo on our website from the events section of the Chamber website at least 1 month prior to
   the event.
• Web link direct from our website to your website from the Directions tab on the event information
• One complimentary place at the event
• 2 minute welcome presentation and offer of tours around the venue
• Display table for your company literature and room for a pop up stand (supplied by you) with
   your logo in a prominent place in the main event room.
• One piece/ pack of company literature handed out at registration to all delegates.

It is very likely that your competitor down the road is willing to sponsor a Chamber event, don’t miss

Terms & Conditions
Should an event need to be cancelled, you will be informed at the latest one week prior to the event.
Dual sponsorship is available, you will be informed of the other sponsor at our earliest convenience.
Some events may have a photographer present, copies of photographs taken at the event by the
Chamber photographer are available upon request, and the Publishing of press releases is at the
discretion of the chosen media’s editor and cannot be guaranteed.
