                       Becoming a Grand Auction Prize Donor
A very limited number of opportunities exist for organisations to participate in the Bruce Lynton Charity Ball as a
Grand Auction Donor. Becoming a grand auction supplier will provide your company with extensive benefits,
including some exclusive benefits, and will highlight your organisation as a major supporter of this prominent
event.

The grand auction is traditionally held following the main course and is a highlight of the evening’s program.
The grand auction will be viewed by the entire contingent of guests and provides a perfect opportunity to
showcase your product or service to a captive audience.



Benefits
•	                Exclusive	naming	rights	to	one	(1)	grand	auction	lot;
•	                Full	page	acknowledgement	in	official	program,	including	text,	image	and	your	corporate	logo;
•	                Dedicated	auction	item	display	area	for	donated	item	and/or	display	props;
•	                Stylish	A4	glass	frame	with	item	description,	image	and	company	logo	(full	colour)	to	be	displayed	in
	                 auction	viewing	area,	examples	from	previous	years	below;
•	                On	screen	duplication	of	A4	glass	frame	(as	above)	to	be	screened	on	main	projection	screen	on	
                  rotation throughout the evening. Presentation contains all auction items both grand and silent in
	                 a	looped	format	with	each	grand	auction	item	being	displayed	for	10	seconds.	This	presentation	
	                 is	displayed	throughout	the	event	on	the	central	screen;
•	                Opportunity	to	display	corporate	brochures	or	business	cards	with	your	donated	item	in	the	auction
	                 display	area;
•	                Exclusive	audio	visual	slide	(including	pre-recorded	audio	voice	over,	text,	and	animated	visual	data)
	                 to	be	presented	on	all	audio	visual	screens	(1	x	central	projection	screen	and	2	x	perimeter	projection
	                 screens)	prior	to	the	auction	of	your	item.	This	screen	is	also	displayed	for	the	duration	of	the	auction

•	   Verbal	acknowledgement	of	your	organisation	and	the	item	being	donated	by	the	grand	auctioneer;	
•	   Opportunity	to	provide	auctioneer	with	“prompt	notes”	to	enhance	the	promotion	of	your	item	as	it	
	    is	being	auctioned;
•	   For	items	donated	in	excess	of	$10,000.00	(with	no	“reserve”	value)	you	will	receive	two	(2)	
	    complimentary	tickets	to	attend	the	event	with	any	subsequent	tickets	purchased	under	your	
	    company’s	name	at	the	special	supporters	rate	of	only	$120	per	ticket	(subject	to	availability	at	time	
	    of	committing	to	donate	an	item);	
•	   For	items	donated	in	excess	of	$5,000.00	(with	no	“reserve”	value)	you	will	be	entitled	to	purchase
	    tickets	at	the	special	supporters	rate	of	only	$150	per	ticket	(subject	to	availability	at	time	of	
	    committing	to	donate	an	item);	
•	   Exposure	of	your	product	to	up	to	800	guests	of	a	lucrative	economic	profile,	representing	an	
	    attractive	target	audience;
•	   Opportunity	to	display	grand	auction	item	in	the	Bruce	Lynton	BMW	dealership	the	week	prior	to	
	    the	event;	and
•	   Mention	as	a	grand	auction	prize	donor	in	issued	press	releases.



Your Investment
•	   Investment for grand auction sponsorship is the donation of an item with a certified
     recommended retail value in excess of $5,000.00.


Conditions
•	   Whilst	every	attempt	is	made	to	avoid	conflict	of	industry	interest	between	grand	auction	sponsors
     or between grand auction and silent auction items, due to the charitable nature of the event industry
	    exclusivity	cannot	be	guaranteed;
•	   The	minimum	value	of	$5,000.00	applies	to	retail	items,	however	experiential	“money	can’t	buy”	
	    items	may	also	be	considered	by	the	organisers	to	appear	in	the	grand	auction.		Such	donations	
	    should	be	discussed	with	the	organisers;
•	   The	order	of	your	auction	item	will	be	determined	by	the	organisers;	and
•	   All	grand	auction	items	are	subject	to	approval	by	the	organisers.		The	organisers	have	the	right	to	
	    refuse	offers	of	grand	auction	sponsorship	should	the	item	fail	to	reach	a	suitable	“perceived”	
	    or	“intrinsic”	retail	value	in	which	case	items	may	be	accepted	into	the	silent	auction	proceedings.

                           Becoming a Silent Auction Prize Donor
The	silent	auction	is	quickly	becoming	one	of	the	primary	reasons	for	guests	to	attend	the	annual	Bruce	Lynton	
Charity	Ball.		With	significant	revenue	growth	each	year,	the	success	of	the	silent	auction	is	clear.		Between	the	
hours	of	7.30pm	–	10:30pm	guests	place	their	bids	at	the	silent	auction	tables	and	are	outbid	by	other	guests.	   	
Each	bid	is	registered	on	two	“live”	screens	so	that	guests	at	tables	can	see	the	progress	of	the	auction.		At	the	
end of the evening the guest with the highest bid for each item is deemed the winner of the item.

Your Investment
•      Investment for silent auction sponsorship is the donation of an item of product or service from your
	      business.		The	minimum	value	of	silent	auction	items	is	$100.00	RRP.		
       There is no maximum value for silent auction items.


Conditions
•	     Industry	exclusivity	cannot	be	guaranteed;
•	     Experience	items	(eg.	joy	flights,	balloon	rides,	boat	outings	are	welcomed	to	the	silent	auction);
•	     A	maximum	of	150	silent	auction	items	will	be	accepted	by	the	organisers;
•	     The	order	of	your	auction	item	will	be	determined	by	the	organisers;	and
•	     All	silent	auction	items	are	subject	to	approval	by	the	organisers.		The	organisers	have	the	right	to
	      refuse	offers	of	silent	auction	sponsorship	should	the	item	fail	to	reach	a	suitable	“perceived”	or	
	      “intrinsic”	retail	value.
