St. Bernadette First Reconciliation Schedule of Dates for 2008
Parent Orientation and Registration An orientation session will be held on Tuesday, June 24th, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. or Thursday, September 4th, 2008 p.m. at 7:00 p.m. at St. Bernadette Parish. Discussion is to include class overview and philosophy, parental support, homework, dress and other questions. This session is only for parents. **Please note, registration will not take place over the phone. Parents must attend an orientation session to register their child. Requirements This program is recommended for children in Grade Four to Grade Six. Please bring a copy of your child’s Catholic Baptismal Certificate and the $10.00 registration fee. If you require further information please contact Jacquie at the parish office, 236-2979. Class Times We will be offering First Reconciliation Classes for your child during mass times. Your child will receive his/her lesson while you attend mass. Your child is required to attend four classes, the retreat and the celebration. You are free to choose the class times that best fit your schedule. The schedule is as follows: Class 1 Options Sept. 20th at 5:00 p.m. Sept. 21st at 9:00 a.m. Class 2 Options Oct. 4th at 5:00 p.m. Oct. 5th at 9:00 a.m. Class 3 Options Oct. 18th at 5:00 p.m. Oct.19th at 9:00 a.m. Class 4 Options Nov.8th at 5:00 p.m. Nov. 9th at 9:00 a.m. Retreat Nov. 22nd at 10:00a.m
Retreat The retreat will be held on Saturday, November 22nd from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A hot lunch will be provided. The retreat is mandatory for all children wishing to celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation. Sacrament of First Reconciliation We will celebrate the Sacrament of First Reconciliation as a group. The celebration will be November, 25 @ 7:00 pm.

My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things.
