Below is a dashboard containing estimated costs for Web site development. Costs are an estimate based on a simple 5 page site; costs increase and decrease as pages increase or decrease. Estimated costs include maximum options for your site. This proposal and the available packages can be customized to meet your needs and budget. Additional tabs contain specific information about each package and its features. Proposal assumptions and rates are listed below.

Web Site Build Package
These tasks and costs reflect the most basic site build - simple design, content development, execution of build, and push live. This cost assumes a 5 page site - adding pages or developing less pages will increase or decrease cost. Also, costs can be decreased depending on who develops content. I recommend that I at least have a part in content development; see recommended basic optimization for more details. Remember, this estimated total is per Web site.

Recommended Basic Search Optimization Package
Basic optimization is a one-time fee that will help your site be more visible in Web searches, potentially increasing your Web traffic. When you market offline and particularly with signage, interested consumers often utilize the Internet to search for what they briefly saw. If you don't optimize your site to rank for theses searches...a competitor's site might instead be ranked in search results. The consumer might click on this site and convert to your competitor. I highly recommend we begin the process of building your site with basic keyword research. Online tools can tell you how many times per month people search for terms, and provide you with related highly-searched terms. This information can be used to DRIVE content development - if you base the information in your Web site on highly searched terms and utilize them correctly, you can potentially rank more often, get more traffic and even more leads and business. This package also ensures that your site is user friendly, Web safe (fonts, colors, and images load and display correctly), and complies with all legal requirements for handicapped Web users.

Recommended Basic Reporting Package
Basic Reporting adds a free online tool provided by Google to your site: Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a Web tracking software that provides metrics including how many visitors came to your site, how long they stayed, where they went, how they got there, etc. This information can help you understand your customer, make decisions on whether or not to change your site or even your business. The Web is the most trackable marketing tool, and I highly recommend you utilize some sort of Web tracking. With this basic package, I would create an account for your business with Google and then add the tracking tags to your site. You could utilize the tool to find out how many visits you get, etc. I am experienced in pulling data, creating reports, analyzing and recommending changes; see the Advance Reporting and Analytics Package tab for more information.

Advanced Reporting and Analytics Package
The Advanced Reporting and Analytics Package enables you to utlize my reporting and analytics expertise to help you determine if your sites are meeting their objectives and if they are providing your business with a return on investment. A site meets its objectives (and proves itself worth the budget spent on it) when designated key performance indicators show activity. For example, one objective of your site might be to provide information about your site. A Key Performance Indicator (KPI) might be how many site users clicked on "About Us." Another objective might be to generate leads. A KPI might be how many users emailed you/contacted you from the site. With this package, I will help you define objectives and KPIs and set up a report in my template. I would then pull data every month and provide you with a monthly report. As with any marketing tactic, I feel it is crucial to account for your investment. Analyzing this data can also tell you what part of your Web site/business consumers are most interested in; it's a great market research tool that can provide valuable insight.
