  SIKORSKY AIRCRAFT CORPORATION AWARDS HÉROUX-DEVTEK
     MULTI-YEAR CH-53K HEAVY LIFT HELICOPTER CONTRACT
              Systems Design and Development (SDD) of landing gears

PARIS, (France), June 18, 2007 – Héroux-Devtek Inc. (TSX: HRX), a leading Canadian
manufacturer of aerospace and industrial products, today announced that Sikorsky
Aircraft Corporation has awarded its Landing Gear Division a contract to participate in
the CH-53K Heavy Lift Helicopter program. Sikorsky is a subsidiary of United
Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).

Under the terms of the agreement, Héroux-Devtek will design, develop, fabricate,
assemble, test and deliver the Helicopter’s landing gears and tail bumper during the
CH53K Heavy Lift program’s Systems Design and Development (SDD) phase. This
development phase of the program includes the production of landing gears and tail
bumper assemblies for 8 systems.

The Production phase of the program, with the delivery of two (2) systems for the Low
Rate Initial Production phase in 2013 and four (4) systems in 2014, is expected to lead
to 156 deliveries to the U.S. Marine Corps under current program expectations. Total
revenue for the SDD and the Production Phase, which will be awarded in a separate contract, is
expected to exceed $95M.
