ENTREPRENEUR MAGAZINE NAMES KANSAS CITY DIGITAL PRESS, INC. ONE OF THE
TOP 500 FASTEST GROWING BUSINESSES IN AMERICA

Kansas City, MO, August 27, 2007. Kansas City Digital Press, Inc. hit Entrepreneur magazine’s
Hot 500 list of America’s fastest growing businesses in America. The list includes businesses
from nearly every industry that have exceeded annual sales of $1 million and experienced
positive job growth measured over a four-year timeframe.

The Hot 500 rankings are compiled with the assistance of the Corporate Research Board, a
research organization. Entrepreneur and CRB began the selection process with CRB's database
of more than 10 million U.S. businesses. Only those businesses that met the following four
criteria were considered:

    1. The company must have been founded no earlier than 1998 and no later than 2002.
    2. Company sales in 2002 must be $1 million or greater and 2006 sales must not exceed $1
       billion
    3. The company must prove positive job growth between 2002 and 2006.
    4. The company must have a minimum level of sales growth or a sales growth quantifier of
1 or higher (a measurement that combines percentage and absolute growth) between
       2002 and 2006.

To complete eligibility, the founder must be actively involved in the company, the company cannot
be a spin-off or a division of a larger company, and the company sales for 2006 must be at least
$1 million. From this list, the Hot 500 companies are selected.

Kansas City Digital Press, Inc. was chosen as one of the Hot 500 from over 10 million businesses
nationwide. Established in 2001 by Sean Galloway, who remains president of the company,
KCDP continues to experience rapid growth in sales. In 2002, sales figures were $220k and
grew to over $1 million in 2006. In addition, Galloway was the sole employee in 2002, though
now the company employs 6 full-time people with a projected increase of 4 by December 2008.
Though not part of the selection criteria, KCDP is one of the decreasing companies offering
employees health and disability insurance which helps to attract top talent in the printing industry.

“Our sustained growth and success is due primarily to anticipating our customer’s wants and
needs and acquiring the presses, technology, and quality staff to satisfy them. KCDP was the
first to install the NexPress 2100 printing system in the Midwest. Now we have a Presstek 52DI
to complement it. We have a team who is committed and knowledgeable. Plus great customers
who trust us with their most important and detailed jobs time and again. We are thrilled to be
recognized as one of America’s Hot 500,” explains Sean Galloway, KCDP president.
