What do we believe?
We believe that… …education is a life-long process and that if we can teach children to love learning, to question, to write well, and to think critically, that they will thrive as adults and be better citizens. …children should be introduced early to a second language such as Spanish. …children are naturally curious and should love school. …children need lots of individual attention. …children benefit when families are involved in their education and share knowledge by actively engaging in school projects. …academic excellence and standardized testing are not the same thing. …children need plenty of physical activity for both health and concentration. …good nutrition is learned early. …music, art, culture, and other means of creative expression will enhance a person’s life and can be integrated to enrich other subjects.
Volunteering parents of full-time students volunteer in class 2 days per month + 1 family task (Part-time: 1 day/mo. + 1 task) “Fantastic Fridays” parents encouraged to join us for lunch and socialize with Escuela community special projects and activities for children based on the week’s theme
…science, naturalism, and conservation can be learned early.
