2007 FOOTBALL CAMPS Overnight Camp: June 24-26 Boys, entering grades 9-12 $325 Resident / $225 Commuter Day Camp: June 27-29 Boys & Girls, entering grades 3-8 $275 per camper - 9:00am-3:00pm The UCLA Football Camp is designed to provide the best coaching for the development of sound and basic football fundamentals: offensively, defensively, and for individual special teams skills. The camp’s strength lies in the championship coaching staff assembled, with an emphasis on teaching, and the majority of each day is spent learning the same drills and techniques taught to the UCLA Bruins themselves. Campers will also learn about the importance of attitude, discipline, hard work, pride and teamwork—all qualities that are part of the Bruin Football tradition! Facilities & Accommodations: The UCLA Football Camp is held on the Westwood campus, using the same practice facilities (including Spaulding Field, Intramural Field, and Acosta Athletic Training Center_ used by the UCLA Football team Overnight campers are housed in UCLA residence halls, and meals are served in UCLA’s awardwinning dining halls. Campers are placed in double– or triple-occupancy rooms, and the camp staff will make every effort to honor roommate requests. If no roommate is specified, one will be assigned according to age. Typical Camp Schedule: Overnight Camp 8:00 am Breakfast 9:30 am Commuter Drop-Off 10:00 am Strength/Speed Development 10:15 am Offense Skills & Drills 12:15 pm Kicking Specialists 12:30 pm Lunch & Rest 2:15 pm Strength/Speed Development 2:30 pm Defense Skills & Drills 4:30 pm Commuters depart 5:00 pm Dinner 7:15 pm Bruin Ball 8:45 pm Movie / Evening Program 11:00 pm Lights Out! Refund Policy: There is a $75 per-session cancellation fee for ALL cancellations made at least two weeks prior to the first day of camp. If cancellation, for any reason including medical, is made within two weeks of the camp, there is a $150 cancellation fee. All cancellations must be submitted in writing (by fax or email) by 5pm on the day before the start of camp. No refunds will be given upon expulsion or voluntary withdrawal from camp. No credit will be issued. You will receive an emailed confirmation of your cancellation request once it has been received.
