Center for Leadership & Diversity
The Center for L&D promotes leadership, diversity and inclusion throughout ASME by advising
governance and leadership on results, skills, strategies and tactics and by providing programs and
leadership training. The Center focuses on attracting, developing and retaining new and existing
members who will play key roles in enabling Society growth and organizational effectiveness, If you are
ready to make a difference in your career and want to gain leadership experience with high-level ASME

Knowledge & Communities Affinity Group: Young Engineers
Correspondents
The YEC is a grassroots network of early career volunteers organized to spur opportunities and
activities for early career members of ASME. Our primary focus is to educate and enable young
engineers to organize activities and events within existing organizations, such as senior sections
and divisions, and to organize groups of early career members at the local level in new, relevant
ways. Through these activities, we strive to increase the number of ASME-related opportunities
for early career engineers at the local level, and increase the number of early career members in

Committee on Early Career Development
The growth and retention of early career professionals has been recognized throughout ASME as
