       Exhibitors Invited to March 19
            Student Career Fair
LAS CRUCES – Las Cruces and Doña Ana County businesses, governmental institutions, post-

secondary schools and training programs are invited to participate in a student career fair that will be

held from 8:00 a.m.-1:45 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010 in the gymnasium at Las Cruces High

School, said LCPS Coordinator for Secondary Programs Candy McDonald.

The career fair, which is for juniors and seniors from all four LCPS high schools, is being

sponsored by LCPS, the Doña Ana Branch of the NAACP and the Southern New Mexico Society for

Human Resource Management.

There is no charge for exhibitors to participate. Tables and chairs and lunch will be provided.

“We hope that businesses, government offices and educational and training programs will

join us for this career fair to tell students about the many careers and higher education opportunities

that exist in this area,” said McDonald. “This will be a great opportunity to share expertise and to

help students prepare for their futures as they prepare to graduate from high school,” she said.

Anyone interested in participating in the career fair should contact McDonald by Wednesday,

February 10 at 575.527.6657, 575.312.9739 or cmdonald@lcps.k12.nm.us.
