Platform Configurations: What platform will best accomplish the task?
Mobility and Actuation, Choosing Motors: How much power?
Power Drivers: These must be matched to the motors.
Energy Storage: The batteries must provide the required power for as long as it
takes to accomplish the task.
Sensors and Actuators: What does the robot need to know about its
environment?
Microcontrollers and Programming: What microcontroller, A/D lines, RAM?
Navigation and Decision-making: How will the robot make decisions?
Control and Communication: How will the robot communicate with you?
