					12.   UTILITY EASEMENT VACATION NO. 2002-2 – 8920 Lamar Avenue

      1.   APPLICANT: Jack W. Grashuis is the applicant for this request.

      2.   REQUESTED ACTION: The applicant is requesting approval of a Utility
           Easement Vacation

      3.   LOCATION: The property is located at 8920 Lamar Avenue.

      4.   EXISTING ZONING: This property is currently zoned R-1, Single Family
           Residential District.

      5.   ANALYSIS: The applicant is requesting to vacate the northerly 10-feet of
           a 15-foot utility easement that runs along the south side of the residential
           lot located at 8920 Lamar Avenue. A 5-foot utility easement will remain.

      6.   STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Assuming staff receives no objection from
           any utility company regarding the proposed vacation, the staff
           recommends approval of Utility Easement Vacation No. 2002-2 with no
