ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:


Ramalinga Raju is the Founder and Chairman of Satyam Computer Services Ltd. Satyam
Computer Services was incorporated in 1987,and is headquartered in Hyderabad, India.Ramalinga
Raju Byrraju (born September 16, 1954),in Andhra Pradesh is an Indian businessman, and a
pioneer of the Information Technology industry in India.

Raju has an MBA from Ohio University. He is also an alumnus of the Harvard Business School.
Raju has won several awards and global accolades, which include Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of
the Year for Services in 1999, Dataquest IT Man of the Year in 2000, and CNBC’s Asian Business
Leader - Corporate Citizen of the Year award in 2002. Raju has a very strong social orientation
and has quietly been furthering the cause of social transformation through Byrraju Foundation and
other initiatives such as EMRI.

ASSIGNED FUNCTIONALITY:


    Online recruitment system is built to ease the recruitment process of a graduate into a
     company. Online recruitment is a term that can mean different things to different people.

    To some, it means using the internet to advertise a vacant position.

    To others, it means using the internet to allow people to read about and apply for a vacancy
     online.

    The purpose of this system is to develop user-friendly system for both graduates and
     employer’s .It provides a platform for the interaction of graduates and employers with each
     other.



This system helps the graduates in finding a job that suits them more and also helps the employers
in finding a graduate whose skill set matches more with the job requirements. It is designed to be
simple to use, simple to understand and easy to implement and configure to fit an employer’s
recruitment processes. Examines how corporate and third-party recruitment websites are being
used to appeal to a more diverse candidate base, while reducing advertising costs.



PROBLEMS IN EXISTING SYSTEM:


    The employer carries out their activities through various meetings and presentations.

    The HR manager takes the final decisions and assigns the task to senior facilitators.

    The HR senior facilitators complete the work assigned to them with the help of junior HR
     facilitators.

    The problem that arises in this scenario is that the process is too cumbersome and error
     prone as well.

    Problems like Non-availability of data when required, highly inconsistent information,
     duplication of data, high level of human intervention may result.

    This does not enable the decision support system (HR department) to make several
     important decisions in an organization.
APPROACH TOWARDS PROPOSED SYSTEM:


   The proposed system “Online Recruitment System” will include all the features carried out
    by manual system and also add certain additional features so that the package will form a
    definite improvement.

   It is proposed to make the system extremely user-friendly with well-designed screens and
    limited inputs.

   It is also proposed to include the list of value boxes and grid structures in the screen to
    make the data retrieval very easy and convenient.

   The recruitment system is designed to be simple to use, simple to understand and easy to
    implement and configure to fit the employer’s exact recruitment processes.

   It is provided as an application service provision they offering low setup costs.
